Michael Schmierer
Manager, Logistics and Postsecondary Programs

As Manager of Logistics and Postsecondary Programs, Michael works with the Conexus Indiana Logistics Council, as well as the six Regional Logistics Councils, on planning, industry outreach, and public policy. In addition, Michael manages the Council’s postsecondary workforce development programs, including the Council’s annual logistics case competition, on-campus and on-location events.

Prior to joining the team at Conexus Indiana, Michael was a Legislative Assistant for the Indiana House of Representatives where he assisted in policy research regarding various state issues, tracked and analyzed bills through the legislative process, and organized and scheduled events for legislators.  Prior to his position as Legislative Assistant, Michael interned in the Office of Indiana Governor Mike Pence.  Michael serves on the Pi Kappa Phi (Purdue) Alumni Board as a young alumni representative.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Purdue University.
