While Conexus Indiana has a statewide vision for Indiana’s logistics future, it also recognizes that Indiana has distinct business regions, each with its own assets, challenges and opportunities. To ensure that each region has a clear voice in its future, the Conexus Indiana Logistics Council created six regional logistics councils and charged those councils with creating strategic plans for their individual regions.
Like the statewide logistics council, the regional councils include high-level logistics executives from the full range of logistics businesses as well as regional stakeholders who help drive the logistics industry. They work to identify the regional and local infrastructure, public awareness, public policy and workforce development needs for each area of the state. The regional councils comprise more than 220 regional members.
