Input Sought to Inform Long-Term Strategies Supporting Indiana’s Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics Industries

INDIANAPOLIS (July 24, 2018) Conexus Indiana today issued a call for participation in a survey that will help direct future endeavors to support and grow Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industries. The survey is one component of Conexus Indiana’s strategic planning process and long-term plan to maintain Indiana’s leadership in two of its most dominant industries.

“Indiana’s manufacturing industry is experiencing the longest expansion of employment in state history and Conexus Indiana is committed to ensuring our continued success as technology drives major change,” said J. Mark Howell, president and CEO of Conexus Indiana. “Our strategic planning process is an opportunity for us to consider how we continue to deliver the greatest impact and provide the best support for advanced manufacturing and logistics companies and Hoosiers in a new economy.”

Conexus Indiana has partnered with consultancy firms 4th Economy and Small Box on this year-long project. The multi-phase work includes a series of one-on-one interview sessions with a variety of stakeholders from industry, academia and the public sector. In addition, Conexus Indiana held design-thinking ideation sessions for larger groups of stakeholders in four Indiana cities: South Bend, Lafayette, Evansville and Columbus in July.

Interested industry members and other partners from academia and the public sector are invited to share feedback on the direction needed to maintain Indiana’s leadership in advanced manufacturing and logistics by participating in the survey located here: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4441930/Conexus-2018-Survey.
