INDIANAPOLIS (April 17, 2019) Conexus Indiana today announced that Mitch Landess is joining the organization as senior director of Industry 4.0. In this newly created position, Landess will assist with research and development of Conexus’ Industry 4.0 initiative that is focused on ensuring advanced manufacturing and logistics companies are adopting technologies that will drive their growth in the future.
Landess joins Conexus Indiana after 17 years at Rose-Hulman Ventures (RHV), serving as director of business development and operations where he oversaw expanding the RHV operating model. Before joining RHV, Landess was a senior control and process optimization engineer for Wabash River Energy, LTD.

Landess worked in business development for RHV from 2005 to 2019 and managed the mechanical engineering group from 2002 to 2005. As director of business development, he formed collaborative innovation projects with universities across the Hoosier state, developed paid internship opportunities with practical professional experience for more than 1,000 students and increased RHV’s revenue from $200,000 in 2005 to $1.2 million in 2017.
Landess holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
