Conexus Indiana names new Vice Chair to the Conexus Indiana Advanced Manufacturing Council   

INDIANAPOLIS (March 24, 2022) – Conexus Indiana, a statewide organization dedicated to strengthening Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industries, announced today that Susan Murray Carlock, co-owner and vice president of business development for Mursix Corporation, has been named Vice Chair of the Conexus Indiana Advanced Manufacturing Council, a network of 65 industry leaders who identify and activate opportunities to strengthen the advanced manufacturing industry in Indiana.  

Carlock is a graduate of Marian University, in addition to being a Registered Nurse, and has more than twenty years of business experience in human resources, corporate relations, risk management and business development.

As Co-owner, Carlock leads Mursix Corporation, a precision-components supplier based in Yorktown, Ind. Most recently, Carlock re-engineered the company’s sales process to better position the company to diversify its customer base and to capitalize on its position in the growing vehicle electrification segment.

Prior to her appointment as Vice Chair, Carlock served as a member of the Conexus Indiana Advanced Manufacturing Council since its inception in 2019. She joins existing council Chair, Andrew Ball, co-CEO of Henriott Group Inc., in leading the council. Ball has served as council Chair since 2019.
