INDIANAPOLIS (July 31, 2023) – Bryan Boudouris, associate vice president for strategic interdisciplinary research at Purdue University, Scott Meiner, chief supply chain officer at Lippert, and Justin Weber, chief operating officer for Venture Logistics, have joined the board of Conexus Indiana, a statewide organization dedicated to strengthening Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industries.
“It is essential that our board reflect the depth and reach of our work—which is statewide, future-focused and devoted to strengthening Indiana’s leadership in the advanced industries,” said Conexus Indiana President and CEO Fred Cartwright. “With varied backgrounds and networks in advanced manufacturing and logistics, Bryan, Scott and Justin are helping us better champion the many sub-sectors of Indiana AML—like national defense and transportation—and are helping contribute to our board’s geographic reach.”
Bryan Boudouris serves Purdue University as the R. Norris and Eleanor Shreve Professor of Chemical Engineering and a professor (by courtesy) of chemistry. In this role, he develops new, interdisciplinary research materials for critical global needs with advanced human health, sustainability and national security applications. Previously, Boudouris served on an Intergovernmental Personnel Act assignment as a program director at the National Science Foundation. Boudouris is replacing former board member, Gary Bertoline, senior vice president of online and learning innovation at Purdue.
Scott Meiner leads supply chain efforts for northern Indiana-based components supplier, Lippert, where he works to build and strengthen the internal supply chain team and its processes as chief supply chain officer. Today, he primarily focuses on global procurement, logistics, demand and supply planning and inventory optimization to support Lippert’s growth in the recreation vehicle, marine, residential building products markets and more. Meiner has worked for Lippert for 26 years, starting in a variety of operational and production roles and serving most recently as vice president of supply chain before being promoted to lead the entire global supply chain division.
As COO, Justin Weber is responsible for the strategic direction of Venture Logistics, where he oversees the company’s revenue generating business units. Prior to his role as COO, he served as executive vice president of Finance and Strategy at Venture with an additional ten years of experience at Cummins Inc., where he worked in corporate strategy, corporate development and business development. Weber also has extensive experience in aerospace and defense, having worked in missile defense systems and network security at Lockheed Martin and ITT Industries after serving in the U.S. Army.
Boudouris, Meiner and Weber join 18 existing members of the board of Conexus Indiana.
