INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 19, 2020) Conexus Indiana today announced the Indiana cities it will visit for its year-long, statewide speaker series, M3 (Movers. Makers. Mixers). In its second year, the series will be making stops in:
- Indianapolis in February
- South Bend in March
- Lafayette in April
- Fort Wayne in August
- Evansville in September
- New Albany in November
M3 events strengthen Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industry by connecting early career professionals with thought-provoking ideas, opportunities, resources, and leaders. Each event will feature a speaker who expands the breadth of what it means to be an industry leader and connects, develops and inspires the next generation of movers and makers.
“After the launch of the speaker series in 2019, we’re excited to build on its success in 2020,” said J. Mark Howell, president and CEO of Conexus Indiana. “Indiana’s sustained competitiveness in advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) is dependent on collaboration and idea exchange, which is why events like M3 are so important to Conexus. We are well-suited to convene emerging leaders in AML and establish a community of innovators across Indiana.”
The first event in the series is at Sun King Brewery in Indianapolis on Feb. 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the featured speaker is Mike Arthur, a senior engineer at Raytheon. Blake Johnson, IndyHub president and Indianapolis City Councilman, will moderate the event. To register for the events, visit conexusindiana.com/events.
