Event Summary
As part of our quarterly Conexus Indiana Emerging Technology Showcase series, we extended an invitation from our partners to an in-person event on Thursday, August 25, called “Discovery Day Indiana: Energy INsights”. Over 50 companies attended the event at the Emerging Manufacturing Collaboration Center (EMC2) in Indianapolis.
Energy INsights is a new state-wide program seeking to engage with 100 manufacturers to integrate an Amazon Web Services Connected Factory platform to gather and analyze data from legacy equipment and energy management systems. In collaboration with Energy Systems Network (ESN) and the Emerging Manufacturing Collaboration Center (EMC2), as well as the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), the program will provide data analytics tools to reduce manufacturers’ energy costs.
The presenters provided an in-depth look at the program with examples of how SugarCreek and BIC Indiana have leveraged Energy INsights capabilities to increase efficiency and drive business forward.
