INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 12, 2022) Conexus Indiana has opened nominations for its next cohort of Rising 30 honorees. The program, now entering its third year, honors 30 advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) professionals under the age of 30 who are distinguishing themselves as industry leaders of the future.
As part of its mission to make Indiana a global leader in advanced manufacturing and logistics, Conexus Indiana launched Rising 30 in 2020 to celebrate Indiana’s next generation of change-makers who are instrumental in the industries’ continued evolution. The program is also designed to create pathways for Hoosiers to success in Indiana’s largest industry sector, which employs more than 600,000 individuals and accounts for one-third of the state’s gross domestic product.
“Now entering our third year of Rising 30, we’re beginning to see the true impact that this program has on our state’s young leaders and their employers,” said Fred Cartwright, president and CEO of Conexus Indiana. “Not only does the recognition celebrate the exemplary work of these young professionals, but it reinforces the importance—and the advantage—of investing in young talent in AML.”
Nominees must be 30 years or younger by the end of the 2022 calendar year, have a demonstrated impact on the AML ecosystem and be employed or have at least one work and learn experience/internship/co-op in the AML industries. Individuals who have direct employment with an AML company are eligible for the award as well as those who have a positive impact on the industry from allied professions such as education, marketing, engineering, talent development, public sector or other roles.
The Conexus Rising 30 Class of 2023 will be announced in May of 2023 during a celebration in Indianapolis. Mentors, colleagues and peers of young leaders in Indiana’s AML industries are encouraged to submit a nomination now through January 20, 2023.
