Industry leaders joined us on November 2, 2022 to learn about programs and initiatives that are driving workforce transformation that aids Indiana advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) companies in reskilling incumbent workers towards new smart manufacturing technologies.

Ivy Tech Community College and Amatrol provided presentations on reskilling the Indiana AML workforce and discussed how Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing are continuing to reshape how individuals carry out their work within the AML sector. The development of skilled, technical occupations at the frontline production level is increasingly needed but requires incumbent workers to learn technology-related skills. Growing a skilled, tech-enabled workforce is imperative to the growth of Indiana’s innovation economy.
