Conexus planned and co-hosted the Indiana Pacers STEM Fest 2018 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on February 11, 2018. The event drew attendees from 130 different schools from across the state.
“Conexus Indiana was thrilled to partner with the Pacers for STEM Fest 2018, which helped get students from across Indiana interested in careers in STEM, including the technology-enabled fields we focus on: advanced manufacturing and logistics,” said J. Mark Howell, president and CEO of Conexus Indiana. “More than 1,000 students and families attended STEM Fest 2018. We congratulate all of the winning schools for their tremendous participation.”
“The Pacers Foundation was delighted to support this unique and valuable program that brought benefit to so many central Indiana youth,” said Bill Benner, foundation executive director.
“Thank you to the Pacers Foundation and Conexus Indiana for the opportunity to have our school community learn more about STEM careers,” said Jerome Omar Lahlou, principal of Forest Glen, a Spanish immersion magnet school with the highest attendance at STEM Fest 2018. “We are excited to utilize the grant to help support our STEM curriculum.”
