INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 12, 2020) Conexus Indiana today announced two new members to its Board of Directors. Luke Bosso, senior vice president and chief of staff, Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and Darin Moody, senior vice president, global API and dry product manufacturing and continuous improvement at Eli Lilly and Company are the newest appointees to the now 19-member board. The Board is comprised of statewide leaders who guide Conexus Indiana in its mission to accelerate, promote and grow Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics economy.
“It is critical to our organizational effectiveness for our Board to be a true representation of the industries we represent, from geographic and subsector diversity to organization type and individual experience,” said J. Mark Howell, president and CEO for Conexus Indiana. “With the additions of Luke and Darin, Conexus gains tremendous and varied leadership from the public and private sectors and different parts of Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics economy.”
Bosso served as senior operations director for the Office of Governor Eric J. Holcomb prior to joining the IEDC. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Department of Child Services where he helped lead the organization and manage a $1 billion budget. He also served as the Regulatory and Permitting Ombudsman for Develop Indy. In this role, he worked with businesses to help navigate local permitting and zoning requirements. Bosso is actively involved with several nonprofits including the Indianapolis Zoo and USA Boxing. He received his bachelor’s degree from Franklin College.
Moody joined Lilly as a process design engineer more than 30 years ago after receiving a degree in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Currently, Moody oversees two manufacturing networks at Lilly as well as continuous improvement initiatives. Prior to his current role, he was vice president of corporate engineering and global health, safety and environment at the company.
Before that, Moody held a a variety of leadership positions in engineering and manufacturing at sites in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, including roles as site general manager before moving into executive positions. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Downtown Indy Inc., and previously served as a member of the International Leadership Forum of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers.
