About the event
Collaborative robotics (cobots) are seeing rapid adoption in Indiana’s AML industries, and companies of all sizes are recognizing their benefits, like ease of programmability, opportunity to minimize repetitive human motion, and flexibility to redeploy them around the shop floor as needed. Telamon Robotics, Purdue MEP, and Vincennes University offer Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industries a collection of capabilities and expertise to launch and implement these smart manufacturing solutions. Telamon and Purdue MEP have partnered to launch the Digital Manufacturing Technology Center (DMTC) with a focus on showcasing cost-effective Industry 4.0 solutions. Vincennes University recently unveiled its new collaborative robots lab inside the Center for Technology, Innovation, and Manufacturing. The lab will develop credentials around cobots, build certifications based on industry standards, and prepare students for careers in cobot environments.
